Biomedical
Engineer
Duties and Responsibilities
:
Biomedical
engineering is the application of engineering principles and design concepts to
medicine and biology for healthcare purposes. This field seeks to close the gap
between engineering and medicine: it combines the design and problem solving
skills of engineering with medical and biological sciences to advance
healthcare treatment, including diagnosis, monitoring, and therapy.
Salary :
$69,745
annually
Education :
Prospective
biomedical engineering students should take high school science courses, such
as chemistry, physics, and biology. They should also take math courses,
including calculus. Courses in drafting or mechanical drawing and computer
programing are also useful.
Reflection:
No I wouldn’t
want to take one. Why? because I don’t like science. Also because to me that’s boring.
I like action! And mainly all they do is be inside a room. That’s wak ! I would
rather become a police officer than become a biomedical engineer!
