Cardiology is a medical specialty dealing with disorders of the heart be it human or animal. The field includes medical diagnosis and treatment of congenital heart defects, coronary artery disease, heart failure, valvular heart disease and electrophysiology.

Education :

Prospective cardiologists begin their education path by completing atleast three years of coursework in undergraduate school with a focus on the basic sciences. They then go on to complete four years of medical school. During medical school, students typically spend the first two years taking courses in basic medicine and physiology. Courses may include cell biology, genetics, and immunology. In the final two years, students complete clerkships, diagnosing illnesses and treating patients in clinics.

Reflection :

I might like to become one but yet I don’t know because it seems that you need to go to a lot of classes and also you need to go to school for a quite long time. I would rather just become something that includes action.
